A mid west vinyl product company sought a more precise method of inventory control of rolled sheeting. The company wanted to know the lineage or footage of the remaining material for future production. 

Weigh Point Solution: 

Weigh Point addressed the problem by providing the accurate yet affordable Model FS5 Fork Weigh and Count System for the customers lift truck. 

The FS5 microprocessor was programmed to display the exact remaining footage of materials including vinyl and polyester sheeting to a precision of 99.9%. By measuring the weight of one sheet, the known weight was entered into the FS5's piece counting component and was able to calculate how many pieces of material were in particular rolls.
